Malting operations are located in Reno, Nevada.
The Reno malthouse located on Moran Street. Rebel uses clean Combination germination and kiln
and soft Truckee Meadow H20 for the steeping and germination 250kg capacity
process. All "waste fractions" from the malting is composted and
tilled into the vegetable garden located on the business grounds.
Rebel uses a combination 2 step wet and dry Empty germination compartment awaiting
steep process. This cuts down on water usage next batch of steeped grain.
up to 30% and second steep water is used for
the first steep in the following batch.
